myself Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 hello everybody, i hope you will know how to help with this question, the issue is, i have a drawing with many layouts, and i would like to make process similar to e-transmit, but with final result being a file for each layout with the name of layout in the previous drawing. I'll be waiting for some answers, i’m sure that there was people wishing to do the same thing. thank you very much.... Quote
Dana W Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 Could you not plot each layout separately to a file instead of the plotter? Of course yo know you can plot each layout one at a time? Just right click the layout tab that is open, select your plotter.pc3 and make sure the print to file box is checked. Many of the *.pc3 formats default to a file such as the pdf format and grey out that check box with a check shown in it already. Quote
BIGAL Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 The 2 posts above talk about plotting but if you wanted a backward step and a individual file dwg for each layout just save the drawing multiple times and delete the layout tabs not required. If this is a requirement of your office then you need to use xrefs more. Quote
