Hi,

I am new to autocad 2011 and am trying to use the quick view layouts - trouble is they dont seem to be displaying my drawings on the displayed tabs??

Are there any variables i need to set to make them display.

To clarify - the tabs are appearing across the screen but all of them apart from the model tab are blank and plain black. The Viewports and title sheets are all set up when i view them the old fashioned way!!

thanks

Update drawings quickly view

While working on it dynamically update the thumbnail quick view is not satisfied. Update occurs when switching between model space and sheets or using the command (do not know how in English).

If the drawing is not saved image to the model space, instead it uses an image-deputy.

Deputy location is displayed in the following cases:

If the model space is not initialized

When you set system variable UPDATETHUMBNAIL value of 0. In this case, the image is not updated even if you use (do not know how in English).

When you save a drawing in DXF format it does not contain an image drawing. The image is not updated even if you use (do not know how in English). . Instead, a static image is displayed
