Hidden2 linetype does not display as dashed

Hi There,

I created a simple model. I put it on paper space in the three orthographic views. The lines that are hidden I made thinner, blue and in "hidden 2" linetype. They appeared thinner than the visible lines and they appeared blue, but no matter what I do I cannot make the lines appear dashed, like hidden lines are supposed to be. On the layer, the linetype says, "hidden2". What is wrong? Why is this not working for me? Do any of you have any suggestions?
