Can anyone please help me,

I want to create my own AutoCAD Library with all the symbols that I use for P&ID's. I am relative new to AutoCAD and is still learning.

Could anyone pleas let me know how to do this or where I can find good tutorials to do tis. I am currently using AutoCAD 2008.

Regards

If you have drawn symbols already you are half way there. Save each symbol in its own DWG, save them to a folder and ta-da - you have your library.

If you want to present them on a Palette (which is a fairly normal procedure) there are plenty of descriptions here - try the Search function.

As Tiger suggested create a new Tool Palette. It can be populated with your P&ID symbols via the Design Center. Just drag-n-drop them onto the palette.

Another option is to put all your symbols in a folder (subdivided into additional folders for valves, instrumentation, pumps, equipment, labels, etc.) and then use the Insert command.
