I have gone to "dataextraction" and followed all the steps. When I get to the end and I look at the preview everything is alright. Then I click on finish and it is saved as a .dxe file. When I try to open the file my computer wants to know what created it. I have tried a number of options on the list but it is all jibberish when it opens. Is there an easier way to get this info to an Excel template ? The info is coming out of blocks and contains plot numbers, area etc.

Thanks, D.

Consult your Help files > topic: Link an Excel Spreadsheet to Access Data. You haven't created this link.

Thanks for the input. Can't get it to go into the template but I can always cut and paste.
