arusse23 Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 I need to rotate a plan drawing to match the angles on site. Just now I have various coordinates and can move the buidling to one of these given coordinates e.g corner of building. Then I need to rotate it so the other corner lines is in the correct place. Is this the best way to do it or should i rotate using angles? Quote
MSasu Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 Use the Reference option of ROTATE command - this way will be able to indicate starting, respectively target angle. Rotates objects from a specified angle to a new, absolute angle. Specify the reference angle : Specify an angle by entering a value or by specifying two points Specify the new angle or [Points] : Specify the new absolute angle by entering a value or by specifying two points (excerpt from AutoCAD help) Regards, Quote
ReMark Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 Or use the ALIGN command. It works in 2D and 3D. Quote
