Iron Lantern
This is my first post on the forums so, hello everyone. My question is how do you elimate improter fractions in dimensions? For example my dimension reads 0-'17/4". How do i get it to read 0'-4 1/4".
numberOCD
First try (command: UNITS) and make sure you are set to architectural with 1/4", 1/8" or 1/16" increment and Inches as the main unit. If that doesn't do anything, post a print screen of the annotation menu for that dimension style.
Iron Lantern
I am at work and all forums are blocked on our computers. I am posting this from my iPhone, so I can't give you a print screen. I checked units and everything is good. My only idea on what it could be is some strange dimvar setting.
Nardino
Iron, tell your IT person to unblock your pc. This is a good forum and you and your firm will benefit from it. Also make sure yout DIMUNIT is set to
Iron Lantern
I found out what it was. It was not a technical issue but me of an optical allusion. I noticed when I would convert the fractions they did not add up. It ended up being an optical allusion. The guy had none standard text placement/fraction orientation settings. This caused it to read like an improper fraction, when in fact it wasn't.
