ollie
Hi Folks, As the title suggests I'm looking to retrieve the windows licence key or the autocad product licence through vlisp; ideally through registry keys if possible as the methods I have written for this task are based around registry manipulation. Any thoughts? Cheers, Ollie

BIGAL
Using _pkser is a simple way of making only those who should be running a lisp vba etc are allowed as you only need the autocad serial number on the pc's. Extra tip you create a small lsp that is the _pkser code and basicly add it to the front of your existing lisp code. We used to do this via a batch command and it would also protect the lisp (about 40 programs) Took a couple of minutes to update which doesn' stop people but slows them down and alerts you to the fact that they are trying to use it when they call you as to why its not working
