view cube

im using autocad 2010.

why i cant see viewcube in 2d mode.

What is your shademode?

i set 2d wireframe, of cause i can set to 3d wireframe then i can see cube,

but the problem what in 3d mode autocad runs slower.

Is NAVVCUBEDISPLAY setvar in 2010? If so set it to 3, and/or see help.

there are only to option 0 and 1.

What are the specs on your computer?

i have hp hdx16 laptop.

geforce 9600gt 512mb

4gb ram

procesor - p8400 2.26ghz

Is that an integrated chip or a separate graphics card? It's a GPU (not dedicated). That could be part of the problem when working in 3D.

And what OS are you using?

Kill all your "fun little programs like weather bug, chat programs, music ect. all those will slow your laptop down to a crawl. Also if your running vista it's a memory hog and runs slower than XP or Win 7.

You can disable your anti-virus program too when working in 3D. Just remember to reactivate it when you quit out of AutoCAD.
