salman
Hi all, When using measure command for entities such as arcs/circle. From what point the command starts calculating the required points and can we specify some point on the arc/circle from where the measure command should start. Thanks. ReMark
AutoCAD looks at the overall length. I don't believe you can tell AutoCAD to start at some specific point.
eldon
The measure command starts at the nearest Endpoint to where you selected the entity.
MikeScott
If you happen to use the midpoint of an arc as the selection point, it seems to default to applying the distance clockwise on the outside of the arc. Otherwise, it's just like Eldon says.. the nearest endpoint to where you selected the arc.
