SwChilly Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 I'm using AutoCAD 2009 and I have a bit of a problem. I have xrefs in my drawing and I would like to 'hide' or "mask" some of the lines so they are not visible. Someone told me to just type in the word hide, but all that does is regenerate my drawing. How do I do this? Thanks! Quote
SwChilly Posted June 15, 2010 Author Posted June 15, 2010 Ok, I've tried wipeout but that just leaves a polygonal border... so technically its just adding more lines to my drawing than needed... I'm a CAD student so I'm basically just dumb at this, adn most of you will laugh... HELP! Quote
SwChilly Posted June 15, 2010 Author Posted June 15, 2010 Have you tried turning off the wipeout frame? how do you do that? Quote
ReMark Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Look at the command line when you start the Wipeout command. There is an option for Frames. Type "F" (for Frames) then type "Off". Continue with the command as you normally would. Quote
SwChilly Posted June 15, 2010 Author Posted June 15, 2010 never mind... I figured it out... thank you! Quote
