Atwist Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 Hello forummebers, How can I the command line as an alarm screen display. I often forget to look at the command line. And how am doing dis. Sorry for my bad english Quote
Tiger Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 You want it to blink red? No way that I know - you can make it bigger though so it's more visible. Other than that, I'd say its just a habit thing - make a big post-it with red letters that says LOOK AT COMMANDLINE and put it on your screen. Quote
Atwist Posted June 17, 2010 Author Posted June 17, 2010 make a big post-it with red letters that says LOOK AT COMMANDLINE and put it on your screen. LOL:lol::lol: Thanks Tiger for response Quote
rvpas Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 Hi, 1st-You can move your command line on top of screen, some person prefer like this because it is right on your in front of you. 2nd-you can change color and texte size in option/display tab Window elements part-->colors and fonts buttons 3rd-if you are not afraid of becoming crazy, you can active a bip error in option again, system tab/ general options part-->check beep on error in user imput In my opinion, you begin with the first. But like TIGER said "I'd say its just a habit thing" and its true, You have to learn autocad language as a small tune of music, And practice, practice,... One more thing dont forget Dynamic input (F12), its a good tools. Bye Pascal Quote
Tiger Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 ....2nd-you can change color and texte size in option/display tab Window elements part-->colors and fonts buttons .... Oho! Had no idea that you could customize the Commandline like that! So yes ATwist - you can in fact make it Red and Bold (not blinkin' though...), there you go! One never ceases to learn it seems  Quote
dbroada Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 alternatively turn the command line off and use dynamic input - that way the command line is always at your cursor and you don't have to look down for it. Occassionaly press F2 to see if you have missed anything important. Quote
UMRVJX Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 LOL.....when required your eyes automatically goes for command line. there is no thing wrong.....! Quote
