hemcrop Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Hi Guys, I'm new here. I have autocad drawings of Residential apartmens, Malls, industries etc. Most of them are dimensioned in feets and inches. I would like to change the dimensions of the drawings to meters from feets and inches Could anyone describe me how to do this? Thank You, Hemcrop :) Quote
ReMark Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Maybe this will help. http://www.ehow.com/how_5623532_convert-feet-inches-meters.html Quote
hemcrop Posted June 29, 2010 Author Posted June 29, 2010 Sorry Remark... This won't help me. As there are 1000s of dimensions in the drawing i can't convert it manually... it should be automated. Quote
RobDraw Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 If you change your dimension style to decimal and scale your drawing by the appropriate factor you will have dimensions in meters. Quote
bonehead411 Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Isn't this a case for using Alternate Units? Quote
