dtaylor Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 so I'm working with 3d objects and i have a view setup for my layout space that shows any occluded edges as dashed. This looks great when im viewing it in paper space, the dashed are perfectly spaced and sized, but when i go to plot it the dashes come out too long. For linetypes there is a drop down option where you can select something else but there isnt much to choose from and nothing suitable. Is there any way i can change the scale of this line or add more lines to the linetype options? Thanks Quote

Thanks Check out this thread, just posted today and follow the link and scroll down to the Line type Scale tip. It is awsome. Also, the line type toolbar dropdown, click "Other" then click the load button. There's a bunch in there, they just don't all load into your drawing at the gitgo. I guess they take up a lot of space, so only load what you need. You can also make your own linetypes. I can't find it right now but there is a tutorial or two somewhere on this forum. Quote
dtaylor Posted July 1, 2010 Author Posted July 1, 2010 what I'm trying to figure out is how to modify the lines under Occluded Edges in the Manage Visual Styles window. They don't seem to be tied in with the drawing linetypes and there doesnt seem to be a way i can load in more linetypes. Quote
