Hi Friends,

 

Greetings

 

I have a drawings got from one of my client, when i try to copy the same objects with dimension all dimensions are getting distrubed in the copies objects, I have tried to fix with some dim variable but still i am unable to get the solution.

 

Please help me in this regard, i am attaching the drawing, I am using Autocad2007.

sorry, I do not understand what you mean ..... what does that mean numbers ± 0.2, 0.3 with a white color in addition to that dimension?...:?

Those are Dimension Tolerances, however, they are not part of the actual dimension but just added Text. Also many of the dimensions are Overridden it's just a mess...

 

I'm not sure either what the OP is asking, but if they are attempting to re-dimension it, (properly that is), then it's not going to look the same...

actually i am trying to copy the same for my purpose with all dimensions and the text as tolerances, when i copy all objects the dimensions are shifting from the actual place.

 

any ways i have completed my job by redoing the dimensions.

Very true. I find dimensions can act strangely when manipulated from the original dim style. :glare:

 

Ramana, if you should find yourself having to do this again in the future, it may be quicker to just 'Save as' and create your own copy of the complete drawing.

However, KC makes a good point above, and if your name is going to be on the drawing you probably did the right thing!
