zitree Posted July 6, 2010 Posted July 6, 2010 I've downloaded your file but sorry, I do not understand what you mean ..... what does that mean numbers ± 0.2, 0.3 with a white color in addition to that dimension?... Quote
kencaz Posted July 6, 2010 Posted July 6, 2010 I've downloaded your file butsorry, I do not understand what you mean ..... what does that mean numbers ± 0.2, 0.3 with a white color in addition to that dimension?... Those are Dimension Tolerances, however, they are not part of the actual dimension but just added Text. Also many of the dimensions are Overridden it's just a mess... I'm not sure either what the OP is asking, but if they are attempting to re-dimension it, (properly that is), then it's not going to look the same... KC Quote
Ramana Posted July 7, 2010 Author Posted July 7, 2010 Dear Friends, actually i am trying to copy the same for my purpose with all dimensions and the text as tolerances, when i copy all objects the dimensions are shifting from the actual place. any ways i have completed my job by redoing the dimensions. Thanks a lot Ramana Quote
bonehead411 Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Also many of the dimensions are Overridden it's just a mess...KC Very true. I find dimensions can act strangely when manipulated from the original dim style. Ramana, if you should find yourself having to do this again in the future, it may be quicker to just 'Save as' and create your own copy of the complete drawing. However, KC makes a good point above, and if your name is going to be on the drawing you probably did the right thing! Quote
