Is there an alternative to the FIND option?

 

Objective Would Be:

 

To locate ATTRIBUTE TEXT (ie: a point number) within a drawing,

then ZOOM to it as optioned within the FIND option.

 

Any suggestions how to accomplish is appreciated.

Step through selection set of all point blocks and if you find one with an attribute matching a specific value, zoom to it.

 

Is FIND really cumbersome enough to merit something like this?
