tatey100 Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 Hi, I have recently started using Autocad 2010 and have changed my personal preferences etc. However, one thing i can't seem to change is when i go to edit Mtext i can't just simply double click on it to edit it. i have to highlight it and use the quick propoerties box to double click in the text line and then it opens up the mtext for editing. How can i change this so that when i double click it will allow me to edit rather than use the quick properties tool. if the quick properties tool isn;t on then i can't edit at all quickly. All other cad versions i have known automatically let you double click for editing so have not come across this before. if someone can help then it will be great as it slows me down when doing drawings. Thanks, Chris Quote

RaelFacio Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Make sure PICKFIRST is set to 1 and DBLCLKEDIT is set to ON. I have been trying to get the double-click for mtext to work for someone else at work for 4 hours. the "Pickfirst" and set to "1" worked. Thank you very much! Quote
