Modifying Single Line Text Spacing

Recommended Posts

I've been tasked to take some existing drawings and clean them up for use on another project. On sheet 2 of each drawing there are an extensive list of notes which are all single line text entities instead of multiline and are of a .180" height.

The problem I'm facing is that the drawing standards for the new set of drawings require text on the body of the drawing to be .125". When I select the notes (on the first drawing there are 35 notes consisting of a total of 214 separate lines of single line text) and change the size to .125" the line spacing is now completely messed up.

Is there an easy way to change the line spacing between separate lines of text? Thanks.

First of all, use the Express Tool TXT2MTXT to convert all the single lines of text into one big clump of text.

Now if you change the height of the text to your requirements, it should change the line spacing pro rata
