Handrail Post Visual Style

Hi,

So far I've managed to create a visual style of our hand rail so that it convincingly looks like the 'as constructed' thing.

But, I don't like the newel posts and how they are seen to go through the posts rather than hidden. (See dynamic_rail which is a ramp)

Or original is a block that is inserted, newel post and handrail block. (See block_rail the one with D01)

how can I get them to look the same :) Can I somehow hatch the dynamic post or back it out.

I am a bit confused at what you are asking. Let me try, and see if I did understand you lol. You need picture B to look like picture A ?

is your rail higher than the post? that would be one thing to look at, if it is, then it will show through.

Oh, could it be that the viewport is wireframe by default. >< hmm, this would mean I'd need to recreate a new plot style for a hidden viewstyle so that everything is black and white.
