michael_ab Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 Hi all , I have been using autocad for about 6 months now and look for any ‘architectural/engineering parts’ drawings (basic or complex) to practice my autocad skills. would anyone be able to send me any? Quote
ReMark Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 Practice drawings can be found in any architectural or mechanical design/drafting book. The same "practice" drawings students who studied manual drafting 50 years ago are still good examples to attempt recreating using CAD today. Your local library should have plenty of books you can choose from or if you wish to start your own reference library buy your books from Barns & Noble, Borders or via Amazon. Quote
nukecad Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 Dont forget to look at the tutorials on this site. A free source of engineering component drawings is equipment and component suppliers websites; these often have drawings in PDF for that you can download and then try to reproduce in AutoCAD. Quote
