Block with attributable text displaying ? instead of feet and inches

I have a block with multiple text attributes. I use it for labeling rebar size and length. Today it started displaying the ? whenever I would type ' or ". Everything else in the drawing works fine. Does anyone know how to get it back to where it was?

It works. I pressed control and shift and the key that has the ' and " symbol and it went back to normal. If anyone else has this problem then I hope this helps.
