I've got MEP 2011 installed ready to use, and I also use C3D 2011.
Is it possible to use the two in combination to allow:
a) cross sections to be automatically generated through 3D solid models and MEP objects as well as showing your C3D surface.
b) create profile views (aka long sections) that show your 3D structures.
It would be good to acheive the above keeping all sections dynamic. currently, if I have a pipe passing through a structure, I'd draw the structure manually on my long section.
I don't think part builder is the way forward for complex structures.
Any thoughts on workflow would be appreciated. Ideally we'd XREF, data shortcut to allow multiple users to work on the project at the same time.
I know very little about MEP currently.
