CalypsoArt Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 I've been testing out variables and options lately and I've really screwed up how I use AC. I recently checked an option to attach the boundaries to a hatch thinking it might speed thing up for me. It is a totally wromg choice for my work and I can't find where I selected this option. I want to switch it off. Anyone able to point me to the correct dialog? thanks Quote
Cat Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 I'm looking at an older verson, but type in "bhatch" and see if that's what you're looking for. Quote
CalypsoArt Posted July 30, 2010 Author Posted July 30, 2010 Thanks, but it not about associative. I always have my hatches Associative. What I recently did was change an option to make the boundaries attach to the hatch when you select them. Now when I select the hatch all boundary lines are also selected, even if the line goes beyond the hatch area. changing the hatch line weight now also changes the boundary line weight. This was never the case before. I remember the option I changed said something like "attach boundary to hatch when selecting". Just can't remember where it was. Quote
CalypsoArt Posted July 30, 2010 Author Posted July 30, 2010 Ipseifert, thanks for the effort. But still no go. I think it had more to do with selection options than hatch options. I really need to pay attention when making option changes. AC has so many variables is is easy to loose where they are in the dialogs. Quote
lpseifert Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 Now I remember... Pickstyle try setting it to 0 or 1 (look in Help) It can be toggled with Ctrl+H Quote
CalypsoArt Posted July 30, 2010 Author Posted July 30, 2010 Solved. PICKSTYLE it was set to 3. However, I thought I changed it in a dialog box not from the command line. Quote
CalypsoArt Posted July 30, 2010 Author Posted July 30, 2010 Ipseifert, thanks again. I you feel like looking at the other screw-up I made recently it's on this thread. http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?50827-Huh-Tracking-at-odd-angles Quote
