Lost file open dialog box in AutoCAD 2010

When I do file tab then open autocad does not open the dialog box to choose a file. It puts the

last file as the default at the command prompt. How do I get my open dialog box back?

Set FILEDIA variable to 1.

 

And, by the way, this issue is already covered in FAQ section.
