Josephus Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 I'm still using an old version of Acad (2000), but often need to scale geometry in one direction only, and the workaround with blocks is a ridiculous waste of my time (IMO). Have any of the newer versions of Acad including LT incorporated this simple but very useful command? Thank you much in advance, Joe Quote
edwinprakoso Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 No, still no scale in one direction/axis. I also want this feature. Especially because I saw MicroStation can do that. Quote
Patrick Hughes Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 I've done something in the past like this: For scaling the x distance: Rotate geometry about the y axis a predetermined angle to produce the correct aspect. If you just need to view the scaled geometry leave it as is, otherwise flatten. Quote
RobDraw Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 Using the properties box, different scales can be applied to the axes. Quote
