Is AutoCAD 2011 backwards compatible with AutoCAD 2002 LT?

I just got hired by a manufacturing company as a drafter, and they are STILL using AutoCAD 2002 LT. I find it way less efficient, obviously. So, can I do my work in 2011 and Save As the drawing in 2002 LT format.

 

FYI: when I save as i am only presented with: 2010/LT 2010, 2007/LT 2007, 2004/LT2004, 2000/LT 2000, R14/.../...

 

So, will it fall under 2000 or what?
