Migrating settings from 2006 to 2011

I have installed Autocad 2011 and migrated my settings from my previous version,autocad 2006. I have attempted to save this workspace without success----the toolbars do not reappear,when I switch workspaces-----any suggestions????

When you saved your settings did you give it a new profile name ? If so you need to edit the properties of your desktop icon so the last bit matches the name of your new profile c:\autocad2011\acad /p "myprofile" its just a little gothca

Also in workspace settings make sure auto save is on else it will not save them.

I have created my own commands and toolbars. How can i save and transfer them on other computer? Thanks!
