Hi all,

I just want to know is it posible to change a block color based on the block attributes.

My exact requirement is to place the same block with different colors.

Is it possible.......................?

When i tried to change the block color using refedit. it is changing total blocks with the same name. But i want to change a perticular block only.

Please help me to work out this.

Thanks in advance,

KUMAR.

To change only one instance of a block you would need to duplicate the block definition, then make the change as required.

When you create the block be sure the entities are on layer 0 and the color is Byblock. After insertion you'll be able to edit the blocks' color.

I use lpseifert's method but you can also create your block with "ByLayer" colour and put the block on another layer with the appropriate colour.

You can also have some elements "ByLayer" and some "ByBlock" to create a multitude of colours. :D

But the entities to create the block need to be on layer 0
