Has anyone using ACADE made an electrical drawing of a PanAlarm unit, model 910, and, if so, how did you do it?

Hi Remark,
From the literature I found on the internet, the wiring diagram is set up in the same format as an I/O module for a PLC. Have you used the symbol builder in AE yet?

Is symbol builder the feature where one has to fill in a form, of sorts, then ACADE basically builds the module?

Well, you have to draw the basic form of the component, but then you answer questions and give the info for the placement of the terminals. It just so happens I'm working from home this weekend and I can probably supply you with a similar symbol you can use as a base that already has the intelligence if you'd like.

Confirmed. Email received. I'll be taking a look at it Monday morning upon my return to work. The company I work for has finally given me the go ahead to start recreating our process building alarm panels in ACADE. For the past six decades everything has been done by hand. I've got a lot of work ahead of me and a lot of learning to do too.
