Osnaps and Block Insertion

Everytime I try to insert a block, the OSNAPS temporarily turns off. What setting do I need to change to make this stop happening? Most of what I do is insert blocks and I would like the osnap to stay engaged and the polar tracking but I lose them when I try to insert a block. I am sure it is something simple but haven't stumbled upon it yet!!! Thanks a million to anyone who can help!

Does this happen with all blocks you try to insert or just certain ones?

They are Project Matrix symbols -- if I use a block I have designed, it doesn't happen. I can insert it but I have it set to let me pick the rotation (systems furniture symbols so I need this ability) and as soon as I get the rotation dialogue, the osnap is turned off.

Could it be that for whatever reason the Project Matrix symbol insertion routine temporarily disables Osnaps?

I finally came to that conclusion and since I was not prepared to monkey with their LISP routines and I couldn't see anything on their site FAQ I checked for a recent update to their program and lo and behold there were updates for both the catalogue program and the symbol program and once I downloaded and installed those most of my issues went away. I couldn't have been the only person with that issue and I was blaming on ACAD 2010 but it was them.
