VikaMann Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 (edited) Hey gonna make an ISO represetation of this drawing here that I have a picture of in 3d My question is basicly how do I draw the R15 so it shows up correct? This is for Autocad 2010 From an 2d view from the side it looks like this m102.dwg Edited October 12, 2010 by VikaMann adding drawing file Quote
ReMark Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 You have two options that immediately come to mind. If the main object has already been drawn then use the Fillet command to radius the edge. The other option would be to create a profile and Sweep or Revolve it. Your choice. Quote

Should have told that the ISO is supposed to be drawn in 2d and not 3d. I've come up to this point here, but now I'm stuck Edited October 12, 2010 by VikaMann wrong picture Quote
VikaMann Posted October 12, 2010 Author Posted October 12, 2010 noone out there who can help me out? Quote
qball Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 seems like you need an arc from tangent to tangent of the largest ellipse to the second largest ellipse. I think it is really hard. as the fillet fades away at different points around the ellipse it is infinite points to try to calculate. Quote
VikaMann Posted October 12, 2010 Author Posted October 12, 2010 Think I managed to get a decent outcome. Made a ellipse in the middle of the large and small ellipse with the correct messure. Quote
