scaling

Hello,

Is there a way in acad 2010 to scale something from two points. For instance, say something is drawn in proportion and you dimension two points to be 2'. Some programs will scale the drawing based on those two points that you said was to be 2'. hopefully this makes sense

Try using the Reference option of the Scale command

or try the Align command

could nto find reference option of scale. Align command i do not think is not what i am looking for. I want to be able to say that from this point to another point is 2', therefore, the rest of the drawing will scale to that proportion

Specify bas point:

Specify scale factor or [Copy/Reference] : type "r" for reference
