I need to make a movie.

I have made a 3d model but I don't know how to make it move

The model is of two tape measures. they will extend and retract to the correct measurement. To do this I will make an extrusion but make the length a variable

How do I do that?

Export the parameter in the parameters box...then inside Studio select parameter favorites and select it. Now use Animate Parameters.

I know that's how it's done. I have tried it several times but it won't do it. Obviously I'm doing something wrong.

Can you point to a tutorial, tutorial on Youtube, or any other screencast on how to do it?
