Cad 09 civil 3d....importing csv files

example: After setting up my point-styles and description key sets, anything coming in with the description "STRUCT" gets assigned, But some points coming in have "STRUCT-167" with a number following, how can I get these to get picked up under the same assignment

Try a description with STRUCT*.

I can't make any promises, there are some serious problems with C3D descriptor codes - things that worked great in LDD. To make things easy, just open the CSV file and Find|Replace "STRUCT-" (including hyphen) with "STRUCT " (including space) and the "STRUCT" descriptor will recognize "STRUCT 167" as STRUCT. It will ignore anything after the space.
