ManillaThrillah Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Hi, i have autocad 2011, and one day when i selected the 3D rotate nothing happend??? this comes up... "Command: '_DEFAULTGIZMO Enter new value for DEFAULTGIZMO :" how do i get it to work? Quote
ReMark Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 DEFAULTGIZMO The values 0 to 3 set the 3D Move, 3D Rotate, or 3D Scale gizmo as the default during subobject selection. 3d Rotate With the 3D Rotate gizmo, you can restrict the rotation of selected objects about an X, Y, or Z axis. To specify the rotation axis, hover the cursor over the gizmo until the axis line is displayed in red and the revolution path is highlighted in yellow. Did you bother to look at your AutoCAD Help file? Refer to gizmos, about. Look at the Procedure tab to find out more about the use of the gizmo. Quote
ManillaThrillah Posted November 19, 2010 Author Posted November 19, 2010 the thing is.. you know when, in cad, you dont have anything senected. then there is a (cross with a little squere in it, were the mouse is)... when you select, for example, (LINE) there ONLY is a cross and NO squere.. when i select 3D rotate gizmo, it should be, ONLY a cross and NO squere. butt, guess what, it is both.. its like i didn't even select 3D rotate. do you understand now? thanx Quote
ReMark Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Not really. You're puzzled as to why you have crosshairs but no square box surrounding their intersection when you select the 3D rotate gizmo? I find the gizmo to be annoying at best so I don't use it. Quote
ManillaThrillah Posted November 19, 2010 Author Posted November 19, 2010 you know what.. i just type in 3drotate and it works.. still, it just stoped working:P thanks anyway:) Quote
nestly Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Gizmos aren't displayed in 2D Wireframe and planview. Quote
