ziofel Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Is there a way to undo something in the middle of a command. For example when I am using the trim command and I trim 5 things but the last one I accidently clicked the wrong area or line, can I undo only the last click. When I click undo it removes all 5 and I have to start from scratch. Quote
lpseifert Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Command: t TRIMCurrent settings: Projection=UCS, Edge=Extend Select cutting edges ... Select objects or : 1 found Select objects: Select object to trim or shift-select to extend or [Fence/Crossing/Project/Edge/eRase/Undo]: Select object to trim or shift-select to extend or [Fence/Crossing/Project/Edge/eRase/Undo]: The Undo within the command will undo the last trimmed object Quote
JD Mather Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Instead of Undo hit u key on keyboard and Enter while still in the trim command. Repeat as needed. Quote
ziofel Posted November 25, 2010 Author Posted November 25, 2010 Thanks, have to experiment with those commands more often too busy designing and not looking at commands. Designerstuart that will undo all of the commands not just the last click. Quote
designerstuart Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Designerstuart that will undo all of the commands not just the last click. not for me, i tried it. Quote
ziofel Posted November 25, 2010 Author Posted November 25, 2010 Hmmm must be a setting you have because I just tried trimming two sets of lines, one at a time and it undid both. Weird. Quote
Cad64 Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 As JD Mather stated. You have to Undo or Ctrl+Z while still in the command. Once you terminate the command, Undo will undo the entire operation. Quote
ziofel Posted November 25, 2010 Author Posted November 25, 2010 It was mid command. Ctrl+Z still undoes all clicks where as just using u will undo last click in command. Quote
