Seperate model drawings, need help

Within AutoCAD LT 2008, is there a way of setting up different model layouts to draw separate areas of the shop floor, then have them all link together on a separate Model together?

There is only one model space available to draw in. You can have more than one layout. And each layout can have up to 64 viewports.

You can draw the different areas of the shop floor in model space then combine them in a single layout using multiple viewports. Just remember to lock the viewport displays and put the viewports on their own layer that is set not to print.
