Ctrl-Z to Undo isn't working

I recently created my own CUI file and everything works fine except that now I can't use ctrl-z to undo. I know I can use U to undo but I am accustom to ctrl-z now and it is rather annoying. When I hit ctrl now my crosshair turns into a box. I'm not sure what setting I need to change but any help would be appreciated.

Is the UNDO shortcut still set to Ctrl+z???
