Insert or attach (not linked) an Image into AutoCAD drawing?

Is there a way to insert an image into AutoCAD drawing and have it embeded in the drawing?

If the drawing is move the image would stay in the drawing. In this case the

image will need to be attached (not linked with a path) to the drawing.

I tryed option 1 in the above link and it did not get a very good color picture.

Any other suggestions?
