Publish Command:Changing Line Types

We have a standard linetype we use for trees. It's a uniform series of arcs. When any of us use the publish command, the tree line comes out as a series of dots. Has anyone else had this problem/have a solution for it? We are running Map 3D 2010 and Carlson 2010 and the problem is not computer specific or user specific. The printer we are using is an Oce TDS600.

On a side note, i just printed a set of 23 sheets 9 times using publish command and it switched some sheets around on me, but not the same sheets in each set. Any idea why that would happen?
