Marc5 Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 Do not know if this is the correct place to post this question, but I will start here. I am running ACAD Arch 2010 and at times I need to work remote. I currently use a program called LOGMEIN to view my computer at the office. LOGMEIN worked fine with 2004 (our office jumped from 04 Desk Top to 10), however; 2010 through LOGMEIN is locking up bad. Do not know if it CAD or LOGMEIN. We discussed this with LOGMEIN yesterday and they had no "off the top of the head" fix. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks, Marc Quote
ReMark Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 Which version (name and version number) are you using? It just locks up. There are no error messages right? What browser do you use? Have you tried researching your problem on the LogMeIn Community board? Quote
Marc5 Posted January 6, 2011 Author Posted January 6, 2011 Which version (name and version number) are you using? LOGMEIN FREE It just locks up. YES, I CAN MINIMIZE SCREEN AND IT WAKES BACK UP, BUT THE NEXT AUTOCAD COMMAND LOCKS IT BACK UP - OR FREEZES THE SCREEN. I HAD SOMEONE IN THE OFFICE WATCH WHAT I WAS DOING REMOTELY AND AUTO CAD ON THE OFFICE MACHINE KEPT WORKING FINE WHILE THE REMOTE MACHINE (ONE I WAS WORKING FROM LOCKED UP). REMEMBER, 2004 HAS NO PROBLEMS WITH "LOCK-UP". There are no error messages right? CORRECT, IT JUST FREEZES What browser do you use? INTERNET EXPLORER 8 Have you tried researching your problem on the LogMeIn Community board? CALLED YESTERDAY AND THE PERSON WE SPOKE TO HAD NO CLUE WHY IT IS LOCKING UP BUT DID OFFER THAT THE FREE VERSION SHOULD NOT BE THE CAUSE. I ALSO POSTED THIS MORNING TO THE LOGMEIN COMMUNITY BOARD AS YOU SUGGESTED - WAITING ON REPLY. PS.....Not yelling......Used caps and red to help distinguish between your post and mine.
