Is there a way??? (piping question)

We are installing allot of Hdpe Water pipe and want to show the pipe

with a Vertical and Horizontal curve as opposed to just straight pipe with bends.

(plan view is easy)

We know we can do it manually in the profile. Is there a way to

get the Pipe Network to follow a Vertical curve in the profile?

As far as I know, Civil 3D forces you to run pipes between structures, i.e. straight lines from point to point. I'm not saying you can't have a curved pipe, just that I don't know how to do it.

Sounds like a 3d polyline question or a series of straights and arcs but with the arcs rotated about an axis

300mm rad 90 bend inclined 45deg to left, remember a rotated bend from plan view is shorter now if not 90deg when viewed in plan

Could be done but not in civ3d pipe. it would be fairly simple to write a lisp to enter the details and "rotate3d" the object.
