harveywalker Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Hi, I'm using AutoCAD 2002 and having problems with a True Type Font. When I open up our standard border, the Vivienne Text re-scales itself causing it to disappear off screen. However, when a colleague opens the border, the text displays correctly. I have re-installed the font from the colleague’s machine, but it has made no difference to mine. When I explode the border, I can amend the text width/height (using the property box), but I have to put in really small numbers (i.e. 0.00001) to get it to display correctly. If I open a standard drawing sheet and type a word in the font, it displays correctly, until I put a capital letter at the front - and the same problem occurs. Obviously there is a setting with my AutoCAD that is causing the scale issue. Does anyone have an idea? Hope someone can help! Quote
Rebel Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Are you using the "standard" text style? It sounds to me like something is up there. Make sure your width factor is set to 1 and your height is set to 0' Quote
Tyke Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Check the units in your drawings. It sounds like one is in metres and the other in millimetres. Quote
