Ray1 Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 I am having trouble getting the point of the thread to be to the outside of the helix when swept. I have a helix that was drawn from left to right and CCW. A triangle is drawn with the base on the bottom and the point at the top. When I use the sweep command and pick the right end of the helix the thread is upside down. When I pick the left end of the helix the thread is correct. So the triangle needs to be pointed up and pick the left end of the helix or the triangle needs to be pointed down and pick the right end of the helix. Is this always correct? How can I pick the correct end of the helix using Lisp? Right now I sellect the helix using (ssget "L"). Thanks Quote
Ray1 Posted January 21, 2011 Author Posted January 21, 2011 I have it working now. I was drawing the triangle in the wrong plane. Quote
