profile grid cuts off hatching

Most likely, nobody at Autodesk ever expected that someone would want to hatch a profile. Oddly enough, it works. When you pick a point in a profile view with the grid turned off, a profile line will act as part of a boundary.

Here's the reason for this post. With one profile view, it doesn't quite work. I've created a profile view style with no grid lines. I set the view style to turn off the grid, pick a point where I want to hatch, and create the hatch. Then, when I reset the style so that the grid reappears, the hatch shrinks into the grid rectangle where the pick point was. In other words, turning the grid back on forces the hatch to recalculate its borders with the grid lines in place.

You're thinking, duh, the hatch is associative. That's true, I checked. But so are all the other ones, and they don't display this behavior. It only happens in one profile view.

Another weird thing. All the other hatches behave as if they're not associative. If the profile changes, the hatch doesn't. My guess is that the hatch update routine doesn't recognize profiles when they change, and really, why would it? Who would want to hatch a profile?

BTW, I used the obvious fix: set the hatch to not associative.
