garethcorner Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Hi all, First of all im sorry if this has been covered in another thread. My problem is that when I am opening drawings saved on a pen drive from my bosses computer and opening them at home the drawings are all stacked up on top of each other in the model space, not set out like when they where saved. Im using autocad 2010. I have limited experience. Im very very pushed for time. Any advice would be greatly received Quote
nestly Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 I don't really understand what you're describing. Can you post a sample drawing? (if they're under 2MB) or at least a screenshot that shows what you're seeing. Quote
JPlanera Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 I could be that the OP means blocks... So one drawing "file" contains multiple drawings (blocks), when opened are stacked. As if multiple xrefs were inserted with the same insertion point... Maybe... Although this seems unlikely, unless there is a compatibility issue of some sort. Is the boss's computer running 2010 as well?? Quote
BIGAL Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Are you meaning multiple drawings open at the one time then you can have split, stacked, tiled, single its a windows function of how you see the multiple drawings use the little icons top right of each window to change. Try WINDOW on menu it has options cascade tile etc Quote
