How do I assign a scale to a viewport in my layout?

Perhaps add a note that scaling viewports using the Zoom nXP is not the preferred method when using Annotative objects since Annotative objects only synchronize with viewport scale when the scale is set from one of the scale lists.

Lookin good, ReMark. Maybe include an explanation of DIMLFAC at the end so no one comes back and says "why are my dimensions wrong?"...

nestly and JPlanera: Both comments raise valid points and are much appreciated. If either or both of you would like to write something and post it in a private message to me I will include it and be sure to credit you as well. Thank you.

After thinking about both of your responses I realized why I had not addressed either. I do all my annotation and dimensioning in my layout. Your comments remind me of the discussion we've had recently about Wikis. I can see how they might work for a subject such as this.

When you think you got it like you want I will check into making it a sticky. Looks pretty good to me so far.

Thank you SLW210. Your feedback is appreciated. I'm never fully satisfied with anything I write. I always have the urge to tweak it some more. LOL

It would be my pleasure to contribute. I too, am never satisfies with anything. I have been playing guitar for 15 years, and have not finished a song yet. :)

You may want to add a section to it on adding and removing scales from the list.

Good id SLW210.

I one's had this bug:

Going from model to paperspace for some drawings was taking for ever.

It was due to a too large list of defined annotative scales.
