matt bridle Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 I am using autocad 10 Lt, I have currently drawn a building in paper space yet when I change to model space all the lines look very thick, which is also apparent when i print. it is almost as though someone has got a very thick marker pen and gone over all the lines as you now can't see any detail. Any help would be welcome. Quote
SLW210 Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Are you drawing in paperspace or viewing the building that is in Modelspace through a viewport in paperspace? Check LWUNITS, LWDEFAULT and LWDISPLAY System Variables. Quote
matt bridle Posted February 1, 2011 Author Posted February 1, 2011 I am drawing in paperspace, when I go to Model space and draw my viewport the drawing appears with very thick lines. The weird thing is that have been working on other drawings that are fine? Quote

I wish I could learn that trick. Quote
matt bridle Posted February 1, 2011 Author Posted February 1, 2011 Sorry wrong way round, I am drawing in Model space and when view the drawing in Paper space the lines appear very thick. Quote
SLW210 Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Do you have a screen shot or can post the file? Did you check those system variables? LWDISPLAY should be off to not display lineweights. Quote
matt bridle Posted February 1, 2011 Author Posted February 1, 2011 Thanks for that, for some reason my LWDISPLAY was 'on' so I have switched it off and the lines have gone back to normal. Is there a shortcut key that I may have accidently hit? Quote
ReMark Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 You probably just inadvertently clicked on the LWT button at the bottom of your screen. Quote
