samifox Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 Hi in my office we are using AutoCAD LT 2000- 2008, and we have Some full versions. we are planing steel construction in cement shelters. this planing is done on sections, and all the work is primarily manually, almost like drawing on a paper. none of the Autocad powerful capabilities is not taking place in our work. that's lead me to think about developing extension for autocad, extension that will do and decide things for me like what i do in my everyday work, in this way ill speed up the work time maybe in 90%. i made some researches, i understand that ObjectARX and .NET is the best way to go. i would post some questions. ill appreciate any information. can i develop extensions for LT versions? (I almost sure that NO.but i want to be sure:oops:) i understand object-oriented programming, but im not a programmer. is there programmer specialized in developing extensions for Autocad? Thanks shay Quote
BIGAL Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Getting something already written is probably step 1 search the net for programs that match your needs I know of some structural programs that do stuff in seconds v's minutes. They pay for themselves so fast. Search lisp + structural, +tilt panel, + sections I am not saying dont do it yourself but it can takes years. Check out Struc-plus as a start. Quote
