BIGAL Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Whats your data a civ3d point or autocad points lines etc ? please explain a bit more Quote
mully Posted February 9, 2011 Author Posted February 9, 2011 the points are put on within autocad, so basically i need to number them then export the data to a csv file. i havent got a clue Quote
eldon Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 How are you coping with the x,y,z? Because point numbers do not follow a necessarily logical placement in the drawing, it is impossible to automatically export them. I would favour making a block with an attribute to be the point number. Then you could place the point numbers where you so wished, and then using Attribute Extraction, export the point number and point of insertion of the block. There may be other ways to do it. Quote
mully Posted February 9, 2011 Author Posted February 9, 2011 cheers i'll try that, as long as i end up with a csv file with the point number, thats all that matters Quote
